Team Leader's / climber's

About the job

We are currently looking for  professional and positive individual's to join us as a Lead Climber's / Supervisor day to day leading of our arborist team on site.

A successful candidate's will be an experienced arborist with a hardworking approach and a passion for carrying out works to the highest standard, as well as the ability to lead our team to carry out work safely.

Preferred Skills

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 climbing experience
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Experience in leading a team
• NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, CS40, CS41
• NPTC Chipper & MEWP certifications
• Competent in carrying out Risk Assessments
• Ability to complete crown reductions to BS3998 specifications
• Ability to dismantle large trees and carry out complex rigging operations
• Good all-round knowledge of arboriculture operations, tree identification and current safety standards
• Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated

Desired Requirements:

• CSCS Card
• SSSTS
• NPTC stump-grinder certification

Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the team on site to ensure the safe and efficient completion of works – including completing risk assessments
• Confidently carrying out climbing and groundsman duties within the team
• Ensuring sites are always left tidy and work completed to a high standard
• Ensuring the maintenance of all equipment, and all correct kit is take to site
• Mentoring other members of the team
• Liaising with management, office staff and clients
• Ensuring compliance – keeping the teams LOLER and PUWER checks up to date
