Position Title: Tree Watering Technician

Job Type: Part-time / Temporary / May – September / Hours to Suit

Location: London and Home Counties

As part of our mission, we are seeking reliable and environmentally conscious individuals to join us as Tree Watering Technicians. This temporary position, from May till September, offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our urban forest while gaining valuable hands-on experience. No experience is required as you will be trained in the role.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently water designated trees within the specified area, ensuring that each tree receives the appropriate amount of water based on its species and environmental conditions.
• Monitor and assess tree health, reporting any signs of distress or disease to the designated supervisor.
• Operate and maintain watering equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for both yourself and the public. 

Preferred Skills

Qualifications:

• A passion for environmental conservation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of tree species and their watering requirements is a plus but not essential.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
