Autumn 2020 is the time to recruit.

2020 has undoubtably been one of the hardest years for recruitment across many industries. The Furlough payment scheme has encouraged employers to retain excess staff who would otherwise have been released on to the jobs market. With the scheme ending and payment rates drastically reduced we are already starting to see normal visitor and applicant levels and anticipate this will increase as the UK heads in to recession and yet more staff are released on to the jobs market.

From an annual  low of 24,948-page views in April we can see that July figures hit 63,769 with 20,706 individual sessions registered by our Google analytics. As more applicants register with our data base seeking work it will make it easier for our clients to fill vacancies over the Autumn period.

There still remains a lot of competition for staff so we would recommend detailing the benefits of why an applicant should work for your company over a competitor.  Over and above the salary, ongoing training, career progression, staff safety and good communications are all benefits an applicant may be seeking.
